Aurélie Miquel is a French director and photographer. She lives in Paris. After studying art at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, she explores the world, driven by her curiosity and her hunger for discovery. From India to Bangladesh to Ethiopia, Syria, Bolivia, ... she has been looking on her surroundings for more than 15 years to try to understand life and people.
She collaborated for more than 5 years with photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand on his publishing projects, TV documentaries and cinema. She has won prizes with her documentary films "Playing for Philharmonie", "COP 21: the call of children". She develops personal projects of documentaries that question life, death, living together, or artistic objects that makes you think and feel. As a photographer, she collaborated with great French chefs, and edited books at Marabout and Les Éditions Alain Ducasse.
